Mantua and Venice

We went to Venice from Verona and stayed in a hotel right off the Piazza San Marco. It was so beautiful in the morning to wake up and go to the Piazza for a espresso and watch the thousands of pigeons and tourists mill about. Of course, my dad had to complain about the $9 espresso. I said " Dad. You’re in the middle of San Marco on a beautiful sunny morning. It’s a tourist trap - But what do you expect. Enjoy the moment." The Piazza is wonderful at night as well. There are many restaurants, music and dancing that fills the Piazza.

Venice
